Perhaps my best M42 to date. Taken last week Friday from my light polluted skies, using the following:
14.5" SDM
Canon 600D (unmodded)
CLS-CCD filter
10 second subs at ISO800/ISO1600 for total exposure of 17minutes.
Stacked in DSS, processed in PS6.
I had intended to image for an hour but the clouds rolled in
I'm happy though with the potential there is of stacking short subs.
