Thanks H, yeah it is a real nice spot. I can't wait to go back. I really like the rock formations too.

Great Bob, I'm glad this has inspired others to give this a try. A dark stormy day would work, although I think you could get away with maybe just 2 layers of the ND filter sheets. I have made 3 filters so far, a 4 layer version, the 3 (which I think I'll use most of the time) and a 2 layer version as well. I think the 2 layer version would be spot on for very overcast days.

Very interesting idea about using it to make a moon filter! All this time thinking about its uses for photography, it never crossed my mind to make myself a moon filter out of the stuff! Thanks for the idea there mate! For the first time in a long time, I'm now looking forward to the next full moon to try it out.

Let me know how you go making your filter, very interested to see your results.
