Sweet , the best one I ever seen was night shift out at Conoco Philips DLNG plant Darwin 4,30am .

Heading pretty much east to west the green fireball covered probably 40 degrees of Arc across the sky and at is peak shone at an estimated Mag -4
before extinguishing about 10Deg above the horizon.
It was visible long enough to be able to say "Look Meteor !" and have my guests turn round and see it, so I would estimate duration 3 to 4 seconds
