It pays to spend as much time outdoors as you can ! Last night while sharing a few reds and good conversation with friends on the verandah I saw the best fireball I have seen in Months.
Heading pretty much east to west the green fireball covered probably 40 degrees of Arc across the sky and at is peak shone at an estimated Mag -4
before extinguishing about 10Deg above the horizon.
It was visible long enough to be able to say "Look Meteor !" and have my guests turn round and see it, so I would estimate duration 3 to 4 seconds
