Gary Honis has some YouTube vids on modding these DSLR cameras. I have a 450D but I still need it for regular use so I won't touch it.
I think JB HIFI had 1100D's body only for less that $400 a couple of weeks ago. Would have grabbed one if it wasn't for the money that I spent on my mount.
But then again, if I didn't have the mount, I wouldn't need the camera either
