Hi,

Pandemonium

There is a deeper current running in all of this of course. Prof Cox is an ideal ambassador for cosmology and astronomy just now because he is popular with us public. I like watching his programs, and if I wasn't already, would then be turned onto thinking about the cosmos.

So what I mean is, in an era when NASA is suffering budget cuts in proposed programs

and telescope design programs face similar long term cuts

a bit of popularisation by Prof Cox is really good, if it encourages US committeepersons to think there is a vote or two in it.

What do you think? Can he influence the moneybags?

Cheers
