I hope this illustrates it...
The top left is the GSO 2"focusser adapter with the 1.25" nosepiece installed
Bottom is the 2" nosepiece
Middle is the projector with an EP installed.
As you can see it protrudes, but if you use the 1.25" nosepiece it
needs to slide back up into the projector
The difference in position is about 3cm all up.
