A few Messiers
Even as a newbie, this is becoming a favourite part of the night sky, probably because there's so much to see.
I'm no expert, but i got at least M8, M16, M17 & M20.
Nikon D7000 with 50mm F1.8D, on a CG5-GT mount
This is a stack of about 30 images, 25secs, ISO3200 at F4.
Processed in DSS with small adjustments in PS.
I love the contrast between the dark and light areas.
