Yep that is normal for a DOB. is the cas with many scopes. Some show a back to front image like looking into a mirror. Others show a right to left flipped image. You will also find it odd to get adjusted to moving the scope from right to left opposite to what you think. You will get adjusted to it... Enjoy your scope... Dobs are really good
