I've been meaning to try my hand at a stitched panorama of the milkyway for a while. This is the result of my first attempt. Taken from the blue mountains, total of 20 photos using 5D2 and 17-40mm@17mm lens.
2nd shot of the milkyway core was taken with a 600D mounted on an Astrotrac, cls-ccd clip in filter and 24-105mm lens. Total of ~50minutes. Processed in DSS and PS6.
