Helix, now in colour, 54 hrs

Hi Guys

This has been a comedy of errors. 29hrs of 3nm Ha and 20hrs of 3nm NII added together simply cause I didnt know what to do with them seperately. 20hrs of 5-7nm Ha (or fatter) wouldve had exactly the same result, this is the downside of very narrow filters on Ha and NII rich objects. 5.6hrs of OIII.
Also I took 14 hrs of SII (very dim) which I had to ditch. All it did (mapped as Green) was add purple to the image .Now I know why no-one bothers with SII on this .

So, Helix in NB Ha Ha Ha OIII mapped as LRGB (click for big).

Taken on an RCOS 10" RC Scope at f9, SBIG STXL6303E Camera and PME mount at itelescopes Siding Spring Observatory.Processed with CCDstack, Star Tools and Photoshop.

Oh, and some stars died during production, I dont care.
