ISON DSLR 200mm 4th October

I had another go at Comet ISON this morning in Brisbane. Its proximity to Mars makes it easy to line up, even though it's invisible to the eye. A late (4:15am) set up and stuffing around with the camera made for less than optimal conditions but I still managed to get it. The stars in the images are ghosted - probably because I didn't properly insert the light pollution filter in my haste to beat the daylight.

Anyway, here is is for what it's worth. 10x 30sec exposures at f/4, Canon EOS 600D, 200mm. A single exposure is also included showing the entire 200mm field of view.

Thanks for looking,

Tom
