The Large Magellanic Cloud

Another image from last weekend.

I took some nice Ha for this but when processing it I find the LMC often gets overwhelmed by the Ha component easily in processing. It destroys the delicates blues in the neb areas in the LRGB image.

So I left the Ha out. As a result the image seems to sparkle more which is what I wanted to show - the spray of bright millions of stars and the subtle colours of the neb areas.

TEC110 fluorite, PMX mount, SBIG STi guider, Vixen VMC 95 guide scope.
