John - the C6 is only 3.5kg bare and most of the weight is toward the rear so as long as you can balance it, shouldn't be a problem.

The question is....why would you? With careful selection of eyepieces, the FOV of the 10" can almost match that of the C6 due to the narrow (27mm) baffle tube on the C6. You can get a bit of a wider view with a reducer, but it will eventually vignette (just how much is a subject of much debate!)
