Bob, yep there's a stack of tuts on youtube the one I used specifically is this one

Something I've learnt from this attempt is that depending on how much land you capture in the pano determines the size of the circular planet. I have another one I'm working on at the moment, same location but earlier in the evening with cars, people, scopes etc, hopefully when I distort it into the cicular shape they will still be recognisable.
