There are some 'fake constellations' in the sky. The best known is probably the 'False Cross' but others are a lot smaller and fainter than their originals. E.g. mini-Cassiopeia which is the M shaped Lacerta, mini-Lyra with 25 Vulpeculae (mv=6) acting as 'fake-Vega' and is positioned in the same direction als the original Lyra but much smaller and fainter. And within the real Lyra itself is a tiny 'fake-Crux' composed of 8th mag stars close (0.5 degree west) to Shellak (beta Lyrae) and it points to the Ring Nebula. Its orientation is about the same and consists of 5 stars just like its original (and in the Australian flag).
