Planet Crago
An excellent turnout at Crago this weekend. The field adjascent to the observatory was buzzing with activity, we had nightscapers with DSLR's, visual observers with Dobs and SC's and a couple of astrophotographers with their heavy duty mounts and scopes to boot.
The high wind and a layer of cloud that set in around midnight were the only deterrants but overall it seemed everyone was enjoying a good night.
It was only late into the morning that the cloud floated away and the wind dropped, but by then most of the visitors had left.
I took that oportunity to try out a 360 panorama consisting of 27 frames later stitched and wrapped around in photoshop.
The images were taken as:
25 second exposures
16mm
f/2.8
ISO 4000
Canon 5D MK3
Brightness and contrast.
