Happily swap for your SS2000
The adapter is just a female jack properly put into the casing connecting directly to the HC's battery lead outs. Nothing rocket science
Just obviates the need to run it from batteries.
It will work on any of the Vixen mounts with the motor mounts (on the Dec head right side, and hanging on the bottom of the RA axis as usual).
It will also go straight on a GP2 mount. So, GPDX, GP2, GPD2, maybe the SP (not sure on that), EQ5.
Polar alignment is not critical for visual with it as it triangulates, and you can keep adding targets to keep refining it. I think by memory it'll go to 20 alignment stars
For AP of course, you want it pretty good.
