I ended up cleaning the DED108SS myself. Just made sure to mark positions first (these are EXCEEDINGLY sensitive to collimation, being a 4 element design). I used 6% hydrogen peroxide to kill and clean off the mold.

I did clean my ED80 once. Easy enough, but need to prepare well (suction cup holders etc.)

Roger is away to mid-October by memory. I may still need a slight collimation from him, as that is one area I am not going to fiddle with. His costs are reasonable (collimate refractor = $60, clean objective = $120)
