My 450D used to hum at zero degrees at Astrofest. 3-4 months later however it would be 15-25 degrees late at night while I'm trying to shoot something faint like the Rosette and the noise was frustrating to fight.
Still, there's no questioning he is using his DSLR to devastating effect. Wonderful work!
