Great image Marc I an a big fan of diffraction spikes they need sharp focus and prove a bit of physics every time they appear.
I understand forgetting things I have been out of the picture astronomy imaging wise for a few years and the obvious mistakes are being made regularly. Coupled to that I've jumped up in focal length and aperture.
I would be pleased to get 5 sisters alas every time I go to get a photo of them or the Tarantula I make real Elma Fud type rogerings of the session.
