I love the depth of it, but a question: did you "tone down" the star field? I haven't imaged the Trifid for a LONG while now but seem to remember a lot more of a star field.
The depth and clarity of the nebulosity is amazing, right down to the tiny tendrils of H-a nebulosity around a lower star.
