Since it is my first time to learn how to use manual, cant complain too much. I also understand under iso 3200 there will be much noise. However I managed to make timelapse video although the cam "shaked" a bit..

I am thinking to spend around 500-700 to buy a telescope. I asked in other post and the majority said I should get a dob first. However consider using it in the field (like Crago Observatory) will that be reflector / refractor better? At this moment I just want to see the planet / stars clearly such as can see the shape of Mars, Saturn..etc and perhaps try to do AP later.

For reflector I am thinking Skywatcher BKP150x750 EQ3 Deluex from Bintel (as they have shop in Sydney so I can have an actual look) or Skywatcher BKP15012EQ3 from OzScopes

For DoB I am thinking Bintel BT202-B 8" Dobsonian or Bintel BT252-B 10"

What do you think?

p.s. Will bring my red led torch next time
Hi David,

Personally I would go with a reflector. I suggest you drop into Bintel and have a look. They will give you very good advice and answer any questions.

Hope to see you at Crago soon.

regards,

Richard.
