Hi! A friend of mine loaned me his 4X TeleVue Barlow which I thought might be funny to try with my 8" Dob: I couldn't even focus down far enough for it to work and yet when I "join" two 2X Barlow's together it produces a pretty good image. Does this mean that two 2X's are not the same magnification as one 4X?
