Hi all, I recently acquired a 254mm x 1200mm Reflector on an EQ6 mount a couple of days ago. Never had anything like this before but a couple of hours studying up on polar alignment videos and with some help from a friend I think I kinda know what im doin now lol
I'm using a Canon 450D DSLR and had problems with blurry images when pressing the shutter down so I made up a little remote shutter button which helped SO MUCH!
Finally got some images together tonight and was really happy with the results.
The Trifid Nebula on the bottom left took me the longest. It was my 1st attempt at using dark, bias, flat and light pictures... cant wait to try this with the Orion Nebula!
The moon was stacked with 7 photos and sharpened up in photoshop.
The rest of the photos are just a single frame crudely post processed in photoshop.
