I feel like I don't fit in either forum. I'm not a newbie, I've been taking astro photos for over 30 years, but my equipment is very basic. Much of it is homemade. I still shoot with achro refractors, guide manually and have limited sky space. There's no way my images will ever match the top shooters. I don't have the budget for it.
