My first Guided image with the C11

I did my very first guided image of ETA Carina on the G11.

I have guided at dark sites through my ED80 but thats just widefield stuff and 10x easier then guiding in Brisbane at a longer focal length.

Image's taken with my 20DA throught the C11 fl approx 1700mm at F6
18th March 2006 between 8:00pm - 9:30pm

Image taken at my house Tingalpa Brisbane.
Bright Moon

5 x 5 minute exposure's at ISO 400
5 x 4 minute exposures at ISO 800
Baader UHC-s filter used

Total exposure time 45 minutes

Calibrated with
20 bias frames combined to make a Master Bias Frame
10 dark frames combined to make a Master Dark Frame
20 Flat frames Combined to make a Master Flat Frame

All calibrated in Imagesplus and made pretty in PhotoshopCS

I am very happy with the detail....I never thought when I first got my DSLR that I would ever dream about getting images like this from Home...maybe at a dark site yes but not here.
