Thanks Laurie. There was, of course, much more to the trip than what I wrote about. I had a lot of wonderful experiences amd met some wonderful people. I am looking forward to going again, hopefully early in the new year, work permitting.
I would have loved to time the next trip to coincide with Stellafane next year, but my youngest daughter is getting married that same weekend. I don't think it would go down well if I missed the wedding.
Hopefully it will be Stellafane 2015, as I have promised to take a very lovely lady, whom I met under some really unusual circumstances on the second day of the trip, at the Griffith Observatory. This lady, of course, is what is attracting me back to the US.
