Hi all. Nova Del 2013 tonight (13:04, 30 Aug 2013 UT), spectrum taken with Star Analyser diffraction grating & Canon 650D @ 200mm on Vixen Polarie.
This is a quick-n-dirty, too tired to do the hard yards tonight, but the Balmer emission lines are showing up really well, as well as heaps of others. Only managed four usable subs before cloud moved in. Weather has been shocking here for weeks & weeks but looks like we're just entering a fine spell, fingers crossed....
There are a couple of fine whitish lines to the left of the bright red H-alpha emission that are dim stars that got mixed up with the spectrum.
