I agree with Lewis on this , a little dew should not hurt but drenching the with water might not hurt them as such at the time , but it would cause corrosion on the contacts ( water and electricity don't mix ) that would cause all sorts of problems later on , keep the dry Robbo .
BY the way , you need to remove the mirrors for cleaning anyway .
