Removing light path between Bino and focuserI wanted to reduce as much light path as

I wanted to reduce as much light path as possible so i wanted to connect my Denkmeier Binotron 27 directly to the Williams Optics diagonal by removing parts 'C' & 'D' and connecting 'A' directly to the Bino.

First i removed the side plates and drilled and taped a M4 thread in the both sides of the diagonal and installed 2 thumb screws.

Then i took the nose piece 'C' in the first photo and machined it with a taper that would fit the diagonal where the eyepiece adapter was.

Diagonal with the thumb screws and the new nose piece installed.

Now i am impatiently waiting for a Baader Zeiss T2 1.25" diagonal to reduce the light path even further.
