This is the Teleskop-Service branded version "TS ED 40mm". It's a widefield 68 degree AFOV orthoscopic with 2 inch barrel. 16mm of eye relief and very comfortable to use. View is sharp and clear.
It's identical to the TMB Paragon 40mm with the exception of twist-up eyecup instead of fixed eyecup. Same optical design, made in the same factory, etc. - I should know, since I have the TMB one as well and have done side-by-side testing - performance is identical. I'm only keeping the TMB for the brand name.
I have too many 40mm eyepieces (4 of them at last count) so some must go!
This TS ED 40mm is around 6 months old. Brand new condition. Comes in original box (foam lined) with both end caps. Asking price is
$175 including postage Australia-wide.
One quirk - the barrel says "Paracor", which is the old name, from before Televue threatened to sue in the USA, and before it was changed to "Paragon" there - it seems to have kept the name "Paracor" in Europe.
