Hey I was another who had Project Physics in years 11-12... Lots of fun. Volume 2 inspired me to obtain a copy of Newton's Principia - it's a difficult read but the insight it provides into how calculations were done without tables, slide rules or calculators is really fascinating.

Also I think there's something missing on the experimental side - I remember a set of lab books. For example accompanying volume 2, there was a set of experiments which now appear almost identically as Jerry Waxman's 'workbook for astronomy'.

As I recall, many students did only a very few of the experiments as many were neither trivial to perform nor analyse, though in my case I did get through most of them.
