Aug 24th Saturn SED's in good seeing + Jupiter

Hi All,

Imaged Saturn last night in good seeing, the best I have had since April. Have resolved what I believe is a SED's related bright spot at approx +46.6 L3 25.4 and a large cloud feature in the NEB at approx +31.2 L3 347.7.

The SEB cloud feature is best seen in the R channel animation, it is on the Northern edge of the NEB and moves from the CM toward the preceding limb, the bright SED's related feature is obvious. The polar hex is very well resolved.

Was up early this morning to image Jupiter at approx 20 degrees alt, have the GRS and some nice festoons along the Southern edge of the NEB impinging into the EZ. In the animation Ganymede is swinging in behind the planet.

The seeing was poor, lots of flag waving happening but the final results were encouraging, even if only in IR.

Thanks for looking
Regards
Trevor
