Malcolm .... been thinking about how I'm going to get the 3 scopes to SV Camp in Nov .... might have to hitch a trailer behind the caravan.
One of the reasons for wanting the dob is to learn more about navigating the night sky as I'm a bit too lazy with GOTO on the other scopes.

Got to say I had forgotten just how easy a dob is to move, set up and use. Also having used an 11" SCT for a while, love the wide view of the f5 .... which give a totally different perspective.
