Hi Jase

Thanks for your input mate! much appreciated.

Well,I totally agree with your assessment, there was no where near enough Ha data so very noisy in fainter outer areas, although I still could of brightened the extended legs of the Tarantula.

The stars?well you know that lighten blend modes lets the stars form the layer below shine through Jase....no secret,at least It shouldn't be.

"There is no right or wrong, but there is aesthetic"

I have to think about this view a bit mate.I understand what your saying here, but I also understand that If your brightness levels ain't right you wont end up with the right result? which would be aesthetically pleasing result, yes?

The blending is the usual Ha in Red channel and Lum/Ha blend for a super luminance to be layered, again no big secret.

What I find interesting(or sometimes frustrating) is how differing object behave differently to the amount of Ha blended. eg:The North America Neb

Anyway thanks again for your time Jase,Its always enlightening talking with you mate!
