HFG1 region

Hi Everyone,

I've been imaging over the summer (when thunderstorms and wildfires permit) but most I my images have been some of the more boring vdB objects. I've put them on my website but not posted them here. I didn't want to clutter up this site with images of uninteresting objects.

Here is an image I'm excited about however. This is HFG1, a very very faint
planetary nebula which has a HII tail or "wake". This image needs more time but I must move on, so I'll update the image as data comes in.

HFG1 has a prominent bow shock that is readily seen in the image. Also, the
planetary nebula Abell 6 is in the FOV.

The image is narrowband HOO, but star colors are RGB. Some of the stars look a little over saturated and I'm working on that, so bear with me.

This image was taken with ,of course, the venerable Honders. I sure have
enjoyed this scope.
