Get yourself a copy of the BackyardEOS application.... built for use with Canon EOS cameras.
I love it.... magical... captures video, single frames at the same time... captures the video in AVI for stacking... works with PHD auto guiding if you want to go down that path....
Highly recommended if you have an EOS camera.
