After the initial bout of rising panic and terror had subsided, I had a blinding insight; I was born before the PC was invented and lived many happy, eventful and fulfilling years before the advent of the internet, thus these adornments did not pre-date my existence. Therefore they are not necessary for my well-being and survival, nor do they validate who I am, whereupon a most amazing calm washed over me and I was totally at peace. Until I hit the refresh button then the panic returned.
