M8 Lagoon
Well I bit the bullet and did a self mod on my Canon 450D, after 1.5 hours the camera worked first go (thank goodness). We have had a really nice week here in Brisbane as far as clear skies go so I was able to test the camera with the following image.
Canon 450D modded
1600 ISO
2 hours of 90 sec subs
Flats (sort of)
Darks (pre mod)
Bias files (pre mod)
DSS and PS for final adjustments.
Fairly happy with my first modded image but I have to take some new bias files, my flats washed out due to camera movement and my dark bank is pre mod. I just finished taking 120 x 90 sec darks tonight so I will reprocess over the next few days.
