I was using the lightbox from my 14" meade - which meant that it was totally covered. my problem was that the Astrofx software for the nightscape camera doesn't tell you how you go about getting flats, so I was taking a series of images from 1/2 second through to 3 seconds. there is no graph to view so I had no idea what I was doing.
