NGC6559 with dragon

SPX350 F4.5, ST10XME, Astrodon filters Ha5nm RGB.

Always wanted to try Lagoons neighbour a reasonably bright nebula with dark dust lane. I kept seeing it on ccdcalc over the years and finally got round to getting it.

It contains within it a dark nebula Barnard 303 which looks like a dragon/sea creature as well as a curiously small Ha concentration at the very bottom middle catalogued as GN18.06.6.01. Reflection nebula quite difficult to get to extend well so may try binning blue for the next faint reflection nebula. Bloom spikes were easy enough to remove.

Thanks for looking, John.
