+ 1 for tight VNC, I downloaded it at Astrofest and had access on my iPad which was handy for alignment etc. I did have an issue with the ipad app not controlling tight VNC properly (no mouse) using the Real VNC access app. real VNC also have a free offering which has some of the facilities (e.g. file upload) missing.
The standard windows remote desktop also works nicely, you do need a user and password set on the remote machine and the screen wont be visible on a remote session (logged off) but otherwise RD works nicely.
