Hmm, it'll depend on the actual dates but I believe the second half of October is the start of French school holidays and I'm not certain on other countries but it's always going to be busy at holiday time.
The queue times can be pretty terrible, upwards of a couple of hours. Going in the morning may help.
To be honest it's hard to say as it might not be too bad on any given day.
