I'm a new member from the GC and thought I'd say hi and thanks for running such a great forum.


I've been peering through a cheap 114mm newtonian for a while, but have now taken steps towards better gear and astrophotography. Bought a 102mm doublet refractor from the classifieds (thanks Clint) to get me started and am awaiting arrival of my AZ-EQ6.


I see autoguiding in my near future and I'm sure I'll be seeking advice, so thanks in advance!

I started a thread in the Beginner's astrophotography forum with some DSLR widefield efforts, so advice/critique would be welcome.
