APO Imaging Refractor

Greetings,

I've been trying unsuccesfully to source a 2nd telescope. After a lot of research I've decided to invest in a widefield APO refractor. At the top of my list is the Astro-Tech AT65EDQ however I am open to other ideas.

Ideal Requirements;
  • APOchromatic
  • Ideally complete with Field Flattener/Reducer
  • Vixen Dovetail (not as important as I have a Losmandy baseplate for my mount but my current scope uses a Vixen)
  • Solid 2-speed focuser able to support a moderately heavy DSLR
  • Dew Shield (it gets quite frigid where I am)
  • My imaging camera is a moderately heavy Canon DSLR so the telescope would hopefully be able to achieve balance with some nice forward weighting. I believe I can get specialised weight kits, although I'm not sure from where yet.
  • My budget is roughly $800 and the scope would need to be posted
Thank you for taking the time to read my ad
