Glad you love NYC. It is officially my favourite city in the world. With LA, you have done the highlights which is all good. I guess I loved LA because we have had some fun experiences there, but yes, lots of the city is a bit average.
SF is just awesome, did you manage to make it out to Muir Woods? That was one of the absolute highlights of our stay there.
