Solar Imaging Spree 30/07/13

I was lucky this morning in having a good run capturing the sun in both white and Ha light.

The white light images were taken with the Tak FS-102 fitted with a Baader full aperture ND5 filter. The Ha images were also taken with the Tak FS-102 fitted with a Coronado SM40 filter screwed into the small aperture opening of the front dust cap.

Here are the images:

1. Solar disc in white light
2. Solar disc in Ha light
3. Side-by-side white light and Ha with prominences
4. Solar disc in Ha mono image (colourised)
5. Solar disc in white light AR1801 (colourised)
6. Solar prominences (colourised)
7. Nice solar prominence Southwest of solar disc

There are a few more closeup prominence images still to process but they can wait for another day.
