Got the Bug

Prompted by Mike's recent rendition of NGC 6302, and a beautiful clear sky, I captured just over 10 minutes of the Bug before the clouds materialised. Part way through processing the image, it was pelting down!

Nikon D7100 with ICNR
ISO 800
1 x 30 sec, 12 x 57 sec
14" ACF SCT
PixInsight & LR4
No darks, flats, bias or guiding.

I was planning to take about 20 minutes of lights, but got cut short. The 57 sec exposures are a result of an in-camera 3 second mirror/shutter delay setting in combination with the remote timer setting of 60 secs.

Set up time: 15 mins
Exposure time: 12 mins
ICNR time: 12 mins
Pack up time: 10 mins
Processing time: 60+ mins

Total time: ~2 hours
