Venus was captured while the Sun was still up and the seeing was relatively good. I stacked about 400 frames of video in Registax, aligned the RGB channels because of the atmospheric chromatic aberration, and applied successive unsharp masks in Photoshop 7. Attached is a single video frame of both planets.
